Nea Flogita Halkidiki

The distance from the sea is 50 meters. The accommodation is located in a seaside village called Nea Flogita, it is a tourist resort of Halkidiki combining the close distance from Thessaloniki and the airport, just 45 minutes, but also its very organized beach with dozens of restaurants, beach bars and tourist shops for walking and shopping.

Finally, it is located in a key point of Halkidiki, in the ideal position for those who want to experience unique natural landscapes such as the beautiful beaches of Kassandra on the first penninsula of Halkidiki, the wild beauty of Sithonia, archaeological treasures, historical monuments, Mount Athos, etc. Cycling on the promenade alongside the sea and water sports are the most popular activities in the area. The beach is sandy, with a length of about one km, organized with a lifeguard cover, which has received a Blue Flag. The sea, which is one of the cleanest seas in the prefecture, is particularly warm and its depth increases smoothly, with the possibility of water sports. It combines family holidays but also suggestions for food and drink and night out.

The story of the Flamers begins with the Asia Minor disaster. In 1923, refugees from Flogita or Floita (currently called Suvermez) from Cappadocia in Asia Minor, gathered and founded New Flogita. A sight to see is the share of the Flogites, which in the Second World War functioned as a hospital. Today it functions as a museum after all restored. In the village and within walking distance of the accommodation there is a fully equipped supermarket, bakery, doctor's office and pharmacy.
